
Event Description: Life and leadership both come in waves. Some seasons feel steady, while others ask us to stretch, adapt, and trust ourselves in new ways. Women leaders know how to ride the waves - but even the strongest leaders benefit from fresh perspective in changing seasons. Presented by the Women’s Alliance of GOBA, Alicia Culp’s one-hour program, Surf the Surge, will inspire participants to embrace change as an opportunity for growth, confidence, and greater influence.
Through meaningful reflection and practical insight, participants will discover how small, intentional choices can improve mindset, strengthen communication, and create forward momentum during times of transition. Participants will leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and ready for the next wave.
Today, she draws on more than 25 years of leadership experience and nearly a decade of coaching and facilitation. Her experience spans healthcare, nonprofit, government, and private business sectors, with a focus on stronger team alignment and leadership effectiveness. Alicia was a founding board member of Victory Cup Initiative, serving for seven years and later as Board Chair, and has also served on the board of IMPOWER FL. Alicia enjoys reading, time in nature, and active involvement in the Central Florida community. She lives in Orlando with her husband, Peter, and rescue dog, Hope.
